Kalabaka — Photos from Greece
Kalabaka is a town at the foot of the astonishing Meteora rock formations — towering sandstone pillars topped by ancient monasteries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monasteries date back to the 14th century and were built by hermit monks seeking solitude. The landscape is one of the most dramatic in Greece.
