Kavala — Photos from Greece
Kavala is a beautiful port city on the northern Aegean coast of Greece. Built amphitheatrically on the slopes of Mount Symvolo, it features a Byzantine fortress, a magnificent 16th-century Ottoman aqueduct, and a picturesque old quarter called Panagia. The city is the main gateway to the island of Thassos.
